Dances for.... what? Without that word, I cannot give you an answer. It could be either one. You omitted the key word that determines which preposition to use.

its a persons name - Chrystal24, Sep 8, 2010
If that person is the reason why your heart dances, "por" is used for reasons. If the person is going to receive or contemplate your heart's dance, "para" is used to indicate the final destination of things. - lazarus1907, Sep 8, 2010

Rather than just get an answer for this one example, if you want to actually understand the uses of por and para there is some good information in the reference sentence here and we have also a game running that is really good practice smile

G A M E Por vs Para

I will say that when using the informal 1st person "tú" use "por" for example:

baila mi corazon por tu

When using the formal 1st person "usted" use "para" for example"

baila mi corazon para usted

Sometimes you just know which one sounds correct. It would be incorrect to say para tu or por usted.

No Delia, not correct - mi corazon baila por ti, wouldyou be using usted if you are saying my heart dances for you? - - margaretbl, Sep 8, 2010
