How do you translate "court master" to Spanish? I am trying 'magistrado' but it does not mean the same, I think. The phrase I am translating says, "your ex parte hearing with the District Court Judge/Court Master."

Thanks in advance!

If this is a legal translation, it would be better to check on a translation site that specializes in legal issues, but I did a search on google.com.mx and came up with "perito judicial" ("legal expert").

"Juez auxiliar" is another option, but I confess that I do not have a clear grasp of what a "court master" is in English.

Maybe Marianne will see your post; she is an attorney and could help you.

Thank you! I checked a couple of sites, but they have it as "maestro" and that is not what I am looking for. Thank you. Your ideas helped me a great deal. I'll wait for Marianne. Thanks again. - clealcovey, Sep 5, 2010
