How would you translate "Rock climbing"?

How would you say "Rock climbing"? I'm not sure how it is translated exactly. I'm not a mountaineer, just a rock climber. And actually... how would you say a "rock climber"? Thank you!

After what diccionary says, the translation would be escalador. As you said: "No soy un alpinista ("andinista" in Latin America), solo un escalador". Would that fit?

I found that "alpinista" is applied to big mountains climbers and "escalador" is used for people that just climb (although I must confess they meant exactely the same to me).

Welcome to the Forum AK -I was going to send you to the translator but I see it is a bit unusal. Loa has answered and if you google 'escalada en roca' you will find some very interesting articles.
