Remember, a direct object pronoun (lo/la/le/les) replaces your direct object and when you replace your direct object with a direct object pronoun you put it before the transitive verb
lo/la Ex. I greet him. Yo___ (direct object pronoun) saludo
- look at who you are talking about(you are talking about him)
- now, insert the direct object pronoun ending for him (3rd person sing. which is lo)
- insert your new ending into the blank to get your sentence Yo lo saludo. Remember, you don't need Yo.
