Use of ello

Question

I was recently reading some posts about the word ello. One of the examples was No "quiero hablar de ello." Since from what i understand ello is rarely used in spoken Spanish how else could you word that sentence without the use of ello?

The answer is eso. Ello isn't used too much. No quiero hablar de eso.

de eso o de esto is sometimes substituted. ...de tal cosas ...de ese asunto.
