"que no le queda bien"

Question

Could "que no le queda bien" be used to mean "that do not fit him"? The full sentence is "él lleva ropa informal que no le queda bien."

Really, fit and suit should be distinguished here.

Something can fit you perfectly but not suit you.

Same in Spanish.

No quedar bien can mean, hey, it is too big or small, but not normally, it normally means: it does not suit me!

I think the translation is clear and really not in question.

"he wears informal (or casual) clothes that don't fit."

Or in a more fluid translation:

He wears poor fitting casual clothes.

In a clothing cotext, It means that clothes don't fit him well.

In a way I can see how it could be taken as "clothes that dont fit him", but in the way that the "clothes dont sit well on him" (not that queda means sit!! )

But unless you can see that the clothes dont fit him, I would also translate it as "He wears informal clothes that don't suit him"
