"The full moon is high in the sky.."

Question

I wonder how it is said in Spanish.. I was watching TV and I heard a sentence. I understood that is the sentence "The full moon is high in the sky.." but I couldn't understand each word.. It was something like...

"La luna llena ............. del cielo..."

It may be a verb which starts with n , but i'm not sure. Thanks.

Dugu, tthe words you need could be en lo alto del cielo = high in the sky

La luna llena está* en lo alto del cielo

Other useful expressions:

High overhead = en las alturas

High up = arriba, en lo alto

The tower loomed high over the town = la torre se erguía o se albaza por encima de la cuidad. Iam not 100% sure - and you would need confirmation but you might be able to say:

La luna está por encima* del cielo
