What does the presumably Spanish word "chegúí" mean in English?

Can't imagine that you have copied it correctly, both the u and the i having the accent doesn't seem right.
How about: Chegüí
But even then it is still not a word to be found in the dictionary, but it is found in sports. It is a nickname, which I would expect to find a source for, but cannot.

known as "Chegui", was a Puerto Rican professional boxer
I have 'flagged' this answer in the hope that someone from Puero Rico will tell us where JOSE "CHEGÜI" TORRES got his handle.
