Que significa 'eres un solete'? Gracias!

Alguien me llamada un solete. Puedo adivinar que significa algo bien, la persona dijo que 'solete' viene de 'sol'.

You are a sun beam! Like saying in English, "Oh, thanks, you're an angel," or something like that... I don't think this is very commonly used.

In Spain you hear "Eres un sol" from time to time ("solete" is less common), but it is rarer among the newest generations.

Use your imagination: the Sun takes away the darkness (a word that can be terrified), it brings the light, the warmth, it gives life to plants,... Why do you think people turned the Sun into a god?

Someone called me a solete today and this thread really helped me to know what it meant.
