As usual, it depends on the rest of the sentence.

lleva is 3rd person singular of llevar. To bring up might be correct.

If you say: Te invito a mi cumpleaños. Lleva a un amigo, I invite you to my birthday, bring up a friend.

´lleva a un amigo´ may be the same as trae un amigo (a la fiesta) which is like ¨ven con un amigo ¨.
