I have a friend from Columbia who cannot type an Enlgish sentence to save his life, and I'm an American who doesn't doesn't know any Spanish. So he's been typing to me in Spanish and I've been using this site to understand what he's saying. Well, I got a message from him that I can't make any sense of... Can I have some help?
(We were talking about his long-distance relationship with his girlfriend, and I asked him why he likes the distance between them.)
This is the exact message he sent me: "mm si no se puede acer nada pero ella me gusta por su forma de ser y como me trata la amoooo"

Por su forma de ser would be something like Because of how she is. Someone's "forma de ser" is their character and personality.
I think the sentence would mean something like "mmm we can do nothing but I like her because of how she is and how she treats me and I love heeeer"
Por su forma de ser is a new one for me, I'd love to hear what it means.
