On the Answers Page right above "Hot Questions"
Go to "View Rules and Guidelines" and click on it.
After reading "View Rules and Guidelines"
you should be ready to communicate with the people
here at SpanishDict.

Click on the SpanishDict icon on the top left of this page. It will return you to the Home page. At the bottom of that page is a Feedback link. You can contact the staff using it also.

You've already done the hardest part....you've jumped in. I am also from Illinois, so we can team up and "represent" 
I have been here for two months, and I can tell you that this forum is filled with helpful, knowlegable, polite (mostly) folks who can keep your learning curve on the uptick and who are happy to help you get "unstuck" in the sticky points of the language.
Be sure to take advantage of the 60 free Spanish lessons. To find these, just click on the Learn Spanish tab on the far left of the screen. Be sure to check out the "secret" More tab on the far right. You'll find the phrasebook, reference articles, member profiles y mucho mas!
