I wash my hair.

I wash my hair.

Okay so I just go into this debate with my Spanish professor about the correct way to say, "I wash my hair." (My old professor was from Argentina and my new one isn't a native speaker).

My previous Spanish professor taught me, "Me lavo la cabeza."

But my new professor says its either, "Me lavo el pelo," or "Me lavo el cebello."

So, I guess what I'm asking is: Is it acceptable to say, "Me lavo la cabeza," when referring to hair washing?

Me lavo la cabeza is perfect, as well as Me lavo el pelo and Me lavo el cabello. They all refer to the same thing, and they all are used.
