Give it a try and post your result. What pronoun could you use for 'la pregunta'? and another for 'Juan y Pablo'.

I will give a hint: a DO receives the action of the verb and an IO receives the DO.

Bob gave Bill the money.

Money is what is being given; so, money is the DO. Bill is receiving the money; therefore, Bill is the IO.

Bob gave him it. (Or, Bob gave it to him).

Technically, in English, once the IO is preceded with "to" or "for" it is no longer the IO, but it still is in concept. - webdunce, Aug 29, 2010

Welcome to the Forum. This is a Spanish learning site, not a Spanish do your homework site. However, if you figure out your best answers to these questions and then post them for us to check, we'll be happy to.

If you are unsure about how to handle direct and indirect object pronouns, go to the Learn Spanish tab on the far left of this page and click. You will find what you need.

Best of luck.
