Blue smile?

In the song 'No Creo' by Shakira, I was confused by the line, 'sólo creo en tu sonrisa azul', what does she mean by 'blue smile'?

Here is the translation given by a lyrics site, it leaves a lot to be desired (in my opinion) and this is one reason that I am very, very, very, wary of translations and why I always want to see both sides and make up my own mind! (Very romantic - the part with the glass eye!)

I still do not believe in No creo en el azar I do not believe in chance Solo creo en tu sonrisa azul Just believe in your blue smile En tu mirada de cristal In your glass eye En los besos que me das In the kisses you give me Y en todo lo que digas And everything you say

I understand what all the words mean, I just didn't know that line - spanish-at-heart, Aug 27, 2010
No kidding, who would understand it? But remember it is poetry so we can interpret it. I would say 'your icey glance' but the problem is it sounds like they are in love and that would be cold. So maybe 'your clear gaze' - margaretbl, Aug 27, 2010

Maybe the person is dead? Wearing blue lipstick? Sings the blues? Was eating blueberries? Is a man with a blue beard?

I'm also interested to know, because in standard Spanish there is no equivalent to "blue" (as far as I can tell) meaning sadness: there is no connection between being blue and being sad in general in Spanish culture -we find it a curious feature of English.

So what does Shakira mean? There is the chance that she is using the English meaning of "blue" in Spanish even though most people do not understand it that way, but I honestly can't tell. Besides that, I can't make any sense out of it.
