"Happy Birthday" around the world
In school I was always taught the "Happy Birthday to you" Spanish equivalent, "Feliz Cumpleaños a ti". I thought that was how everybody sang it. After I moved to Mexico, I realized that was not true. Here is what they sing the day of someone's birthday:
Anybody else know of a different way to sing "Happy Birthday"? How is it in your country?

This is what my 'dear' brother sang to me on my birthday.
Happy birthday to you,.
Happy Birthday to you,
You look like a monkey.
And you act like one too!
(Sometimes he said, and you belong in a Zoo)
He sang this song as he was on the run because I was always chasing him to clap my hand over his mouth! lol

Here's the version I'm most familiar with:
Immediately after, the following bit is sang to the usual "Happy Birthday" tune:
Cumpleaños feliz,
te deseamos a ti,
cumpleaños name of the person
cumpleaños feliz.
I am not a native English but in my country we have a different birthday song , it's a little bit hard to translate and of course there will be no tune because it's a hole different words , so here it is :-
lovely year , our sweetie .
.
lovely year , our sweetie
.
lovely year ........ ( a name )
.
lovely year sweetheart ..
.
come all let's cheer ..(name).. yaaay
.
His- her birthday will be today , and it will be one of the most beautiful days
.
!arriba ! ...(name)... yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
if you think that's a short song than you are definitely wrong !! because in Arabic words are much more longer !

The Birthday Dirge sung to the tune of "The Volga Boatmen"
Happy birthday.

Doom and gloom and dark despair,
People dying everywhere,
on your birthday.
