How to say "sign up"

How would you say "sign up"? As in: "When can I sign up for Spanish club?" Maybe "inscribir"?

¿Cuándo puedo ____ por el club de español? (Is that right besides the missing verb?)

Hi, Bard.

I´d say:

¿Cuándo puedo inscribirme en el club de español?

Let's wait and see if there are different ways to say this.

I would definitely say "inscribir", but "registrar" would work also.

I think inscribir is one of the most common ways, but subscribir, for me, has the connotation of subscribing to receive a publication of some sort. I would normally say the following:

¿Cuando puedo registrarme para el club de español?

I'd use subscribir, but there may be a better and/or more idiomatic way to say this.
