¿Soy una causa perdida? ¡Estudio español dos o más horas cada dia y tengo mucho más aprender todavía! He estado estudiando por seis meses y soy sólo un principiante. ¡Dios mio!

Aprender una lengua nueva no es algo fácil, especialmente si no vivas en la cultura. Seis meses no es un tiempo largo. Hube estudiado español por dos años y viví en Caracas por seis meses antes de sentir cómodo hablándola con un Venezolano. No te preocupes. Aprenderás.
Learning a new language is not an easy thing, especially if you don't live in the culture. Six months is not a long time. I had studied Spanish for two years and lived in Caracas for six months before I felt comfortable speaking it with a Venezuelan. Don't worry. You'll learn.
For only having studied spanish for 6 months you did a good job writing that all in spanish. You are not a lost cause. The main issue here is that it takes a HUGE amount of work to become fluent in a new language. This is especially true if you are not surrounded by that language on a daily basis. I have been practicing regularly for just over a year now and I've been making slow but steady progress. I have a long ways to go before becoming fluent. There are people who spend years learning a new language and they can't speak more than a few words. The key is to keep going and not give up.
