How do you say I love you guys in spanish

I am getting a lot of different answers on this one and I just want to know which one is the best. The one that I keep getting is te amo chicos

I would just say "los quiero (mucho)". I love you guys ( a lot). Another option is "los quiero a todos".

Using "amo" is a romantic love. "Te" is not correct here either. "Te amo" is saying that I love you (on a deeper level).

In American English people use that "guys" because if you just say "you", you can't tell whether you are talking to one person (tú) or to all of them (vosotros/ustedes). English has lost the distinction between the 2nd person singular and plural, and because sometimes it is useful, a new mechanism has been added to the language to avoid the ambiguity: to add "guys" when you are talking to a group.

you = tú (but maybe vosotros/ustedes)

you guys = vosotros/ustedes

The simplest and most obvious translation to sentences like "I invite you guys to a drink" is:

Los invito a una bebida / Os invito a una bebida

You don't have to add "muchachos" or "chicos" in Spanish. It is unnecessary and it does not reflect the original intention of the word "guys" in English, and it even sounds strange most of the time.

No, it's incorrect. Who told you that? If you want to tell it to one person, te amo sounds good, but here you're using "guys". Then you should say: Os amo chicos (informal way) or les amo chicos (formal way). Also better is to use the verb "querer". Instead of chicos you can use "muchachos", "amigos", too.
