"Going well" - Colloquial translation
I've heard it many times, but I haven't grasped it just yet. Wondering how to say "how did it go?" and "it was going well until..."
I'll take everything you know about it (want to understand )
.
I may have heard "te iba bien?"

For present tense I have seen Ir bien/mal as Jos says. (¿Cómo va?)
For past tense sometimes salir bien/mal (How did it go/turn out?)
or for either pasar bien/mal. (often means enjoy)
Mexican people, to say "going well" will say "ay se va" another common expression, the people say "bien bien" instead of just "bien" when people ask how they are doing.

I dont think you heard this in Mexico.
Todo iba bien hasta. . .
how did it go?- ¿Cómo va?, ¿Cómo va la cosa?, (more colloquial), ¿Cómo van las cosas? (the best) "it was going well until..."- "(Pues)Iba bien hasta...."
I hope it helps![]()
