Or "Three days to go"? The three translation from those engines are too different...just wondering what is the common way to say it.

I would say - Sólo quedan tres (3) días.

It is quite common to use the verb "quedar" here.

A lot of people are saying the same smile 3,530,000 results for sólo quedan 3 días:

Another option is - Sólo faltan tres (3) días.

La_poetisa's suggestion is the most common, as well as "Sólo faltan tres días (más)."

why ´solo¨...?? that´s a subjective point of view. It could be ¨todavía faltan 3 días¨.

3 days left is just ´faltan tres días´, ´restan tres días´ o ´quedan tres días´.

any other word would express the speaker´s assesment of that period of time. Maybe only 3 days left, just 3 days left, 3 long days left...

"Sólo" is very common in this phrase, at least in Mexico, and it simply adds emphisis. Yes, you could say it without "solo." If 3 days is being considered a lot of time, then you could use "todavía" or "aun" - 005faa61, Aug 25, 2010
Only 3 days left or Still 3 days left. Is the glass half full or half empty? :-) - KevinB, Aug 25, 2010
I have to agree with JulianChivis. I live in Mexico, and that is just the way I hear it. If I were to say the phrase without "sólo", it just would not seem complete to me. - NikkiLR, Aug 25, 2010
Usually they're trying to entice you into going to the sale by warning you that time is running out - "Only 3 days left!" - KevinB, Aug 25, 2010
i undesrtand, but I was having in mind the original question. And it wasn´t ´ just 3 days left´. So... (Only) 3 days left = (Sólo) restan an tres tres días - mediterrunio, Aug 27, 2010

I would go with ..tres días restantes.

Como....hay tres días restantes.

there are three days left (remaining).

This thread is reminding me that I have " diez dias mas" of my summer holiday and then my leisure time will be over for a while. It has been a fun and relaxing summer with lots of time for SD.
