piso o suelo? Please explain in English!

Both piso and suelo are used in the lessons to describe a floor inside a house. Is there a difference?

When talking about the surface you walk on inside a building or house, both can be used. When talking about a specific level of a building (1st floor, 2nd floor, etc) we say Piso.
