Hola!

I always do a letter of the week at home. This week it's the letter D.

GAME & RULES: Only put spanish words here that start with a D, and put the english word behind it. Important rule: Put a picture of the word in the answer.

What I do every week is print out all the words and picto's and put them on my fridge. This way I can learn allot of new words within just a week! The answer with the most votes within the week, get's accepted. Have fun!

to emphasize

transitive verb

1. to emphasize, to highlight (poner de relieve) cabe destacar que… -> it is important to point out that… hay que destacar el trabajo de los actores -> the acting deserves special mention

2. to station (tropas); to assign, to send (corresponsal) intransitive verb

3. to stand out (sobresalir) destaca entre sus otras novelas por su humor -> it stands out among her other novels for o because of its humor
