Why do people love this site so much (just curious)?

Hi leon 101 and welcome to the forum. Bienvenida al foro. Stick around for a while and you will find that you cannot leave. This site is almost addicting. You just want to get one more game in before you do something else. And then you see another interesting post. And you are learning Spanish before you know it! Take a look at the video's and flashcards, the dictionary and translator bar. There is so much to do here and so many wonderful people, you just don't want to leave.Spanish one link link text
Bienvenida al foro.... I have been a part of this site for maybe...3 hours...and I love it. I can not log off long enough. I have finished just two sections of my first lesson, went into a chat and learned how to say "i did it well" lo hice bien...jaja ( see I learned to laugh out loud too) I love most that I get to interact with people just as passionate as I am about becoming bilingual. This has been one of my life long goals (learn a second language) this feels possible and with no pressure.

This is a good learning site. But people don't love it just because of that... There are many sites to learn Spanish....
It is the members, who make it special.... Here we are learning Spanish from each other.(Mostly from each other's mistakes 
)
And improving the vocabulary here (mostly through A-Z games) is fun. The guidance from the advanced Spanish speaking people is great and very helpful.
People here are from all parts of the world. We share our culture, good and bad things in life etc.
Like Nicole, i also prefer to call the members as SD family...
Learn Spanish in this site for 1 week, you will also start loving it...
It makes learning FUN!
I love it because of the pictures, the lessons, flash cards and reference area...plus the chance to earn points for doing anything.
Oh, and the translator. It helps me to understand what the task is that I need to complete for my homework.
Great people, well designed, very good translator, you'll learn a lot here if you stick with it. You start to figure out who to ask for certain sorts of query. It's the best site I've visited.
For one, it is a great resource to learn/practice learning Spanish. In addition, with all of the forums, you have a great opportunity to practice your Spanish, while playing games with other people and learning to fluently communicate in another language.
Most definitely it is the people. From Paralee and her videos to all the wonderful people in the forums. This site is far more active than any I have found so far. And it is the next best thing to living in a Spanish speaking country.
Hola Leon, this is an amazing site to learn on and yes it is quite addictive - the reason for that is that it is constantly changing, always something new and interesting to read/see and the members and very knowledgable and also kind. Perfect place!
It's a great place to practice and learn in a supportive and helpful environment. The members here consist of both English and Spanish learners, they live all over the planet, and their skills range from beginner to advanced native speaker. It would be almost impossible to ask a question about the two languages that couldn't be answered. And the differences of opinions are always interesting and educational.
Because it teaches you alot of things that you normally wouldnt learn in regular school or spanish classes
