Why not reward learning points for studying the reference section?

Why not reward learning points for studying the reference section?

Foremost let me say I love all the hard work put into spanishdict.com, and express many thanks to all the admins and their dilligance. I know it would be motivational to receive learning points for studying the reference section, perhaps the practice at the end of the lesson could be converted to award points. I think Paralee would get voted up more for all her hard work there.

I just began spending more time studying the reference section and the information is vital and appreciated.

Thanks again to Heidita, Christopher, Eddy, Carlos-F, mountaingirl12, Guillermo2, and Paralee!

Great idea jaredlivingston grin, but how could we know that somebody studied the reference section ? there isn't any exercises that you can finish there so we can know that he - she studied it and reward him-her on that ,otherwise anybody will go to the reference to get points not to study !!! wink

Actually, there are excercises at the end of many of the reference articles. But they are not set up in a way to record answers online right now. I suspect converting them would be complicated. - revmaf, Aug 21, 2010
