I have problems making sentences in past indefinite for exp I dont know how to make sentences in past indefinite

It might help to recognize that the pretérito indefinido (often called simply, "the preterit o pretérito) is a tense that is used to describe a events that can be viewed as a whole and that either begin or end at a specific point in the past to which you are referring (contrast this to the pretérito imperfecto which often describes actions that can be considered to be continuously unfolding or developing at the specified point in time)
