People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges.

There is an English Idiom that states:

“People who live in glass houses (with glass walls) should not throw stones”.

But, there should also be an idiom that states:

“People who live in stone houses should not throw glass”.

My friend, Bernardo Abundes, painted a grand mural about the role of corn through the history of Mexico on the wall of the new El Rey Supermarket. It is very beautiful. I wish I could show you a picture, but I don't have any.

Question: Do muro and pared have identical meanings or is there a slight difference in understanding? I am thinking that perhaps pared is more for interior walls and muro for exterior or larger walls. Is this correct?
