How do you translate "Spooler"?

How do you translate SPOOLER, which is where data formatted for printing is first stored and then printed in a computer. It is much more than "cola de impresión", which is correct.

A long way to express it technically is "memoria intermedia de impresión", but it is more commonly referred to simply as SPOOLER. After all, there is still some debate on whether they chose the word as an achronym for "simultaneous peripheral operations on-line", or the other way round.
