Is anyone experiencing difficulties with editing or voting?
For the past few hours, I have not been able to edit or accept anyone as "Best Answer". I know there have been threads today and earlier in the week pertaining to reputation points not being earned when voting members up. However, this is a brand new problem that I have never encountered.
I have tried unsuccessfully for the past several hours to edit certain posts and to catch up with accepting the "Best Answers" for all of the Synonym/Antonym threads. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
I know very little about computers. However, I am at a hotel away from home and wonder if this could be the issue.
Any thoughts?

It sounds like a problem with the website, not your computer, though if it doesn't happen on any other computers I suppose it has to be specific to your particular computer. I haven't had any trouble editing my posts, but haven't tried to edit anyone else's recently. I haven't tried to accept any answers, but I have been voting and receiving votes without any trouble... Hrm. 
I had a problem two days ago, my score got stuck on 200 for 48 hours , it did not move 1 point in all that time , i thought that i needed a lesson in generosity and patience so have not bothered to say anything, but now I think there may be a "roving glitch' 
You're okay Nicole, it is happening to me, also.
As I voted, it changed the verbage to Unvote, like usual, but the intended recipients received no acknowledgement of my vote nor any increase in their points.
The thread we were on a while ago, where he voted up 2000 answers and didn't get his Rep point? ... I wanted to return the favor, but I couldn't get his count to budge. But now I can't go back and revote because it shows I already did.
So yes there was a glitch, though I think it has passed.
P.S. I don't think it was really 2000. More like 200, but he was busy!
PPS. If the others didn't check the recepients page, they may only think things were normal. I assure you, for awhile it wasn't working as we thought it should!
I am having some odd problems, too, apparently related to the site. I wonder if the very aggressively changing ads on the site right now are part of the problem. They slowed me down so much last night I gave up on using the site for anything.
OK, I was just able to edit this - but I now notice I have received three badges for the same thing - duplicate popular question badges. Badges are nice but something had to be wrong in the way the site was working for that to happen.
It's been working fine for me today but tonight I can't seem to post a link :( Not sure if that's the same glitch or a brand newey lol
Hey, Nicole, I just tried to edit and put in a picture and it didn't go and I had no problem at all last night. It must be the website.
It could be because you are away. Just today, I just had a problem at my Dad's house (supposedly) because my internet provider is not the same as his and I couldn't get my email. I have used my computer at his house before with no problem, so maybe it is the website. I have had the usual problem voting today, where you have to keep clicking on the number until you make sure it sticks. I have not had trouble editing, but yesterday some of my edits did not go in. Also, my computer requires frequent restarts. I am sure this did not help you at all. Good luck, Nicole.
Thanks everyone for all of your input. Another problem is that the "Hot Question" page is not changing for me. It is as if it is frozen in time.
