If I were talking to someone I knew I would say:
Haz una torta de chocolate y ponla en la mesa.
If I wanted to say it more formally I'd say:
Haga una torta de chocolate y pongala en la mesa.
You need imperatives for "make" and "put". The word for "cake" varies a lot from place to place.
Edit: I know we always suggest trying the automatic translators, but they're really not very good.
Edit 2: I used "en" instead of "encima de" because it means "on", rather than "on top of". Most people would assume you want the cake on the table, rather than inside the table.
