You might try duendecillos
If you are referring to the computer graphics programming term which refers to two-dimensional images or animations that are integrated into a larger scene then I have only seen these referred to as
"Los Sprites"

Los Elfos if by Sprite you mean elf.
Los Duendes if by Sprite you mean imp, goblin.
