Hello guys!!!! i always wanted to know what's the difference between the sapnish spoken in the caribbean vs. the spanish spoken in Cuba? im not sure if its the way it is pronounced or if its some of the sayings...like i know that "no jodas" can mean "no ****" in puerto rico/dominican republic..etc. but in Cuba, "no jodas" means "get out of here" strange right??? im just curious. thanks!

Cuba is in the Caribbean. It is in fact one of the most important geographical elements that define the Caribbean sea. So any Spanish spoken in Cuba is, by definition, Caribbean Spanish.
There are, however, lots of regional differences in the slang spoken by different Spanish speaking countries, be they in the Caribbean region or elsewhere. There have been many threads already written that discuss this at length. You are welcome to try our "search" function lo locate a few.
