As you can see in our dictionary redacción can have a variety of meanings.

I found it used in a sentence where it translated to "drafting" as in composing and writing, but I suspect that it could have other meanings in different contexts.

as a guess and if it is 'medios de redacción' - in 'writing circles' or 'editorial circles'. Circles = areas/groups
