Word meanings with and without the accent mark. (It doesn't have to be in alphabetical order.) I'll start.

If the game is about diacritic accents (accents that apparently defy the general rules, but are necessary to differentiate between words that otherwise would look the same), the list is rather short:

de = of dé = may give

el = the él = he

mas = but más = more

mi = my mí = me

se = [pronoun] sé = I know

si = if sí = yes

solo = alone sólo = only

tu = your tú = you

te = you té = tea

We can also add the following interrogative and exclamatory words: adónde, cómo, cuál, cuán, cuándo, cuánto, dónde, qué, quién, and also the pronouns/determinants este, esta, estes, estas, ese, esa, eses, esas, aquel, aquella, aquellos, aquellas.

Beyond these diacritic cases, of course, you can play with other situations, such as:

tomo = I take / volume (of a book)

tomó = he/she took

Any answer after Lazarus' that qualifies deserves double points, it would appear he made it double difficult! - LateToDinner, Aug 15, 2010
Yep, he pretty much covered most of it, most, not all. - LuisaGomezBartle, Aug 15, 2010
And don't forget el papa, the Pope! - MacFadden, Aug 15, 2010
Wow. I just ran into you in a situation totally unrelated to telling people off about asking for free word-for-word translations! It's a miracle. - MacFadden, Aug 15, 2010
