Where's the 'Edit'

Question

I realize that I'm usually a day late and a dollar short on most things, but I'll risk ridicule and ask:

What happened to the 'Edit' button?

I notice a 'History' button, which I hadn't noticed before. I like it. I've had posts edited and I couldn't always tell what was corrected.

Exactly, you need to have 2 K (2000) Reputation to be able to edit other people's posts.

The "edit" button is next to the "flag" option on your posts. You cannot edit other peoples' posts until you reach a certain amount of reputation.
