Idioms--- help
¡Holla amigos! ¿como está? I've a question about these 2 idioms---
De ilusión también se vive.
Mi gozo en un pozo.
I'm looking for equivalent english idioms of these two. But what I'm getting from search engines are literary translation. Could anyone help with this? Thank you

I think this one:
De ilusión también se vive.
Means - to live in a dream world.
and
Mi gozo en un pozo.
Means - down the drain (lit. my joy/happiness in hole)
I am able to answer only the second idiom: "Mi/el gozo en el pozo"
(The enjoyment in a well/pit)
It is usually used when something happens to ruin a good mood/situation, or one's hopes for something have come to nothing. Something akin to "It's all down the drain/what a bummer!"
