Sorry Danrob, I find your example a bit confusing. Are you speaking literally or figuratively? "No I can't move this sculpture because it's set in stone", or "These rules are set in stone are cannot be appealed"? - Gekkosan, Aug 11, 2010

Trato hecho = done deal. Does that fit?

Not really, because a done deal can be re-negotiated if need be. But this might be something that simply cannot be changed. - Gekkosan, Aug 11, 2010

Hola,

Si no quieres usar un dicho, puedes decir, "es definitivo".
