Correct Spanish term for pump bottle used for soap
I use liquid soap to wash my hands at the sink. It is in a container with a pump top that you press down on to dispense the soap. Is it:
la bomba de jabón líquido
I have seen one book refer to this as
la pompa
but the definitions for that word found here don't relate to a pump (though one of them listed, "bubble," has a distant relationship to the idea.)
Many thanks for your help!
¡Muchas gracias!

This sort of bottle is commonly called a "dispensador"; "botella dispensadora"; "envase dispensador", or "cremera".
Don't call it a pompa (pompas) in Mexico! That means something completely different! ![]()

La botella de bombear ...... Pump bottle
