A thankyou letter, Help translate to espanol (Mexico)

Hi,

I am writing a thank-you letter to a dear friend for all the help and support she and her family did for me.

so any improvements over my English letter would be appreciated. try to make it sound fulfilled and loving.

please translate the following, thanks.

Dear ...........

I hope you and your family are safe and happy. I wanted to thank-you personally in this letter, I truly appreciate, your words of kindness and friendliness.

I hope you enjoy your box of gifts. We can speak online anytime. Big Kiss and HUG.. xoxox

If you want it to sound loving, I would start with "querida" instead of "estimada".

This salutation, in my opinion, does not sould loving at all.

Other changes I would suggest... Instead of salvo, I would say sanos. That's how we say healthy in Mexico.

And finally, I would say en linea or por internet instead of online.

Otherwise, I think the translation is excellent.

Estimada = Esteemed. Querida = Dear. I usually see the estimada in business communications. Not really a big deal, I guess. They will surely understand your letter as you wrote it. - petersenkid2, Aug 11, 2010

Yes, "estimado/a" is more like a formal way for people you are not very familiar with, but I agree. They will understand it. - 00e657d4, Aug 11, 2010
