Good times for a change

I find Smiths lyrics do not translate well. So how about this "Pasalo bien, es algo diferente para mí". Enjoying myself, is something different for me. Can you think of a better way? I think I will attempt to translate a song with your help. (ustedes wink)

Hola,

Yo diría algo como "pasándola bien para variar", literally "having a good time for a change".

Buena suerte con tu traducción.

Hola,

No sé bien el contexto pero algunas veces para "for a change" se puede usar "para variar".

Hope this helps.

That is it, para variar, now what the whole sentence? Surely not buenos tiempos....... Pasolo bien para variar? - jeezzle, Aug 10, 2010
Is the context that they are having a good time? As in "finally having a good time"? - LuisaGomezBartle, Aug 10, 2010
Finally being happy after a long time of being unhappy, happy for the first time in a long time. "Haven't felt good in a long time, but now, good times..... for a change". - jeezzle, Aug 10, 2010

Juassss, Pasándolo bien o pasándola bien, are both correct (or at least both are used without difference) porque no me salió indiscriminadamente en ingés jeje

Speaking of pasándola bien, I read online that it should be "pasándoLO bien" because the LO means "el tiempo" but then Mexican people say LA for some reason, but then I asked my Spanish tutor Maria, and she said the LA refers to the hour, like "es la una" and that the hours are feminine so passing the time is feminine. So it is definitely LA? I guess it is la around here at least. Gracias.
