About the English abbreviations:

Question

In English sentences like: "he is as nice as he says he is", we can abbreviate the first pronoun and verb to become"he's", but can we do this same abbreviation in the last position of the sentence above? now in some grammer book I wa reading it said we can not, so I want make sure of that . thank you

Your grammar book is right. The last "he is" cannot be made into "he's;" it sounds very unnatural.

The short answer is no you can't ( can not ).

This is a complicated part of English, commonly known as "verbal contractions".
