"Mucho gusto" is when you first meet someone, but what about when you're leaving and want to say "nice meeting you"?

Edit:haha is "Encantado de conocerte" too formal/flirtatious for everyday use?

I think it's pretty common, It's just like: Nice to see you: "Encantado de verte" - Kiwi-Girl, Aug 10, 2010
you use 'le' if you want to be formal or more polite and 'te' if it's someone your age or you want to be less formal :) - Kiwi-Girl, Aug 10, 2010
I don't think it's really anything like our 'enchanted to meet you' which sounds very old fashioned and stuffy lol - Kiwi-Girl, Aug 10, 2010

Here's another way....

Fue un placer conocerte = informal "It was a pleasure meeting you"

Fue un placer conocerla = formal/female "It was a pleasure meeting you"

Fue un placer conocerlo = formal/male "It was a pleasure meeting you"

You can also use "gusto" instead of placer. "Fue un gusto conocerlo". - 00e657d4, Aug 10, 2010
That's good to know. Thanks, Guillermo! - --Mariana--, Aug 10, 2010
