Spanish Baptism

My husband and I have been invited to a Spanish Baptism and afterwards to the family reception. Could anyone let me know what we should do about a gift? I know that at Spanish Weddings the guests tend to put money into individual envelopes as a present, I was wondering if this applies to a Christening? We want to be traditional.

NO, caza, no money.
In this case you give a present to the child. some kind of clothing, a toy, cologne----
If this is a very close friend, maybe a chain or bracelet-
You do not give money in bautizos
