Question about Indirect Object Pronouns
Please have a look of this exercise: - ¿por qué quieres conocer a Luisa? my answer is: La quiero conocer porque..... but the answer key is: Le quiero conocer porque.....
what confuses me is that why the "LE" is used? "Le" is a Indirect Object Pronoun, but here i think that Luisa is a direct object and La should be applied. Although in the question sentence there is a "a" before Luisa, it is only because Luisa is a person and doesn't necessarily mean Luisa becomes a Indirect Object Pronoun, right? Or is there any grammar point i am still unaware of?
Hey everyone, My mistake. The answer key is "La quiero conocer porque...". Haha, Lo siento. no more need to answer this question. Very sorry for the trouble. ![]()

Well I'm no expert but I'd have to agree with you.
An indirect object should answer 'to whom' or 'for whom' which 'Luisa' doesn't and doesn't conocer have to be followed by a direct object?
Hmmm hopefully someone will come along who really knows what they're talking about and help us both lol ![]()
