Como se dice "theist" en espanol'''''?

I wrote a paper for spanish and my spanish prof. is making us correct our mistakes. He says that "teista" with an accent on the "i" is not the correct word for theist in english (by theist i mean a person who believes in god). I really need to know the right word!!! Helpppppp!!!

Theist=Teísta (with an accent on the 'i')
Teísta. Que profesa el teísmo

Deísta. Que profesa el deísmo
