Which word do hispanic americans use for washroom

Question

I'd like to know which spanish word I would use for "washroom" in a Mexican- American restaurant. Would I use "servicio", "lavabo" or another word?

There are a number of different terms for washroom in Spanish (just as there are in English). I don't know about a Mexican-American restaurant specifically, but any of the different terms would be understood:

El baño, el sanitario, el lavatorio, el cuarto de aseo, los servicios, el cuarto de baño, etc.

I would go with el sanitario or el baño. You really can't go wrong with either of those terms.
