¿Cómo se dice "shower cap" in español?
I am referring to the plastic cap with the elastic edge one wears to keep one's hair dry in the shower.
el gorro de ducha
is my guess for the translation.

"Gorra de baño" is a very usual way to name it. It also applies to swimming caps. The context will tell which one you are referring to.
