yeah, me too. We use the infinitive 'tener', to have. So 'I have' is 'Tengo'. Therefore we say 'tengo quince años'.

Also, I've always heard it with año:
Tengo quince años.

Hi, alyssa. Wass up? In spanish, to say the age, we use the verb "tener" (to have)
Tengo quince.
