How are you?
How are you

Welcome to the forum, Bill.
In Spanish we'd say:
¿Cómo estás? (informal)
¿Cómo está usted? (formal)
You can also say:
¿Qué tal?
This is a more colloquial way to say, How are you ? It is an idiom and so you cannot translate it literally.
You may find it easier to use ¿Cómo estás? as in Marianne's post but it is good to be aware of other phrases which are used to communicate the same meaning ![]()
I hope that this helps ![]()
