The word quedan does mean fit. - epicfail, Aug 2, 2010
yes -but literally as is written there-it means they fit-it comes from the verb quedar to stay, which also means to fit,to try on (e.t.c.)hoped that helped:)oh and you are not missing anything-that pharse means-what shoes fit you well? - Vitorine, Mar 19, 2013

That quedar can mean fit when used in that context, as in do they fit, which ones fit etc...

Ne te quedan bien - will translate something like "they will not stay, or remain, on you good." In english we would say "you will not wear them, because they don't fit you good"

I was refering to how do we get a translation of "to fit or to look" from quedar when the definition of the word is to "stay or remain" - rlthacker, Mar 19, 2013

An alternative, which I think is more commonly heard, is "servir": ¿Qué zapatos le sirven bien? But why not "¿Cual zapatos le sirven bien?"
